What to Wear! Senior Girls

Clothing is key to great portraits so I decided to do a post with a few photos of some great photo worthy outfits. Mid-toned neutrals are always safe but I love pops of color. Try picking tops with lots of texture such as ruffles, lace, ribbon, or a chunky sweater. Layers are another great way to add visual interest to your images. Adding or removing layers or Changing out accessories can make your session more fun interesting. Try to avoid shirts with cartoon characters and large logos.

For Group Sessions I suggest picking a few coordinating colors for your tops and pairing them with jeans. Although you want to be somewhat coordinated you don’t want to be overdone. Being too matchy matchy takes away from each individual in your photos. Most importantly be yourself! Forcing your jeans and T-shirt husband into a 3 piece suite is not always a great idea. Your sessions are about you and having fun together as a family. For this post I will focus on Senior Girls but I will post some more next week. All of these photos and outfits are available from Old Navy. All of these options would be great with a pair of blue jeans too.
